INSIDE TWICE - A Temporary New Format For TWICE

Hello my wonderful subscribers.

We’re all navigating a time of great change these days, and I want to let you know—BEFORE you all go racing to your inboxes for the next episode of TWICE tomorrow—why you won’t find one there this week.

I’ve made passing references for some time to the ongoing challenge of generating weekly episodes of TWICE while also keeping up with the many other responsibilities and unavoidable challenges that comprise my life at present. Despite my best efforts—pretty much seven days a week since January—I’ve been steadily losing the battle to keep all these knives in the air for some time. This week, a few new and unanticipated extenuating circumstances have finally tilted that effort over the edge for me. So, I am taking TWICE from weekly delivery to an ‘every-OTHER-Friday’ format for a while—probably through December, and possibly longer. Hopefully, this change will provide sufficient additional time each week for me to put some other long-disordered affairs in better order.

FOR CLARITY, while there is no new episode of TWICE this week, there WILL BE ONE NEXT FRIDAY—and every alternate Friday after that. There is NO creative endeavor in my life right now that I enjoy or care about more than the ongoing creation of TWICE. It is truly my foremost creative passion. But sometimes, life gives one no workable choice but to set one’s own plans aside for a time to deal with what’s actually happening on the ground instead. I suspect that most of you know just what I mean—and have dealt with one variety or another of this same dilemma during this very unusual year.

Of course, this development may not be all bad. :] It will provide some of you with extra time to catch up with past episodes, not to mention all the rest of whatever’s going on in YOUR lives currently.

I also hope to continue sending my subscribers weekly editions of this INSIDE TWICE newsletter—even on non-episode weeks—just to keep you apprised of what’s going on here, and where things are headed. I enjoy and value our connection, and want to keep that flowing through this temporary slow down.

I’d like to thank each of you—again—for your support and interest throughout this storytelling journey so far, and for your patience, flexibility and understanding as I struggle to arrange my life workably around it. I’ll see you all next week—WITH a new episode providing another peek at what Colleen and Anselm are up to! Until then, be well—and as much at peace as possible. 🙏
