Illustration Notes for Episode Thirteen

This week’s image of Colleen getting a ‘wake-up’ call from her out-of-state mother proved a challenge. Having drawn Colleen once before in Episode Ten, I had the age old problem of making this image of her look like the same person—from a different angle in completely different light, wearing an entirely different expression. …May have overworked it a little. You decide. I can’t quite see this image anymore through all the mental images of all the different little variations I ran through on my way here. Then again, how many different photos of YOU look exactly alike?
